I like the pacing, and having a PC fal...Nice start. I like the pacing, and having a PC fall in the first session seems on par for most of the CoC games I have played. I am sure once the players start thinking more as a group and taking fewer risks things will go more smoothly for them. But then again, having them over think situations that results in removing spontaneity (like checking the basement alone) will make it harder for you to sell the horror in the game.
